no,it should not be legalised as
organ trading is like robbing poor people of their money and it may kill the seller just to let the buyer live.poor people are people also so every life counts. Also, the money they receive is too little and can only last the seller for 3 months on average and after all the money is used up?they probably will start selling their hearts,stomach?0.0

If I were the the government,I would not legalise organ trading. There are many reasons to my final decision.Sure, behind this desicion, there are advantages and disavantage but i have to say that there are more disavantages. One of them would be being unfair to the poor as a kidney patient who is poor cannot afford to buy a kidney. It is also mentioned that if I were to legalise organ trading, that means it would start the trading of other ogans For example the eyes.Another strong reason is that the kidney patient can seek donation of the kidney from their parents, children or spouse. Therefore i will not legalise organ traiding in Singapore for its various reasons and i believe that it is a good choice.

if i were the seller i'd reconsider my agreement to sell my kidney as i would live shorter and if i died, there would be no one to support my poor family T.T

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as it is like dehumanising oneself if it is legalised,it will inevitably lead to the degeneration of the health-care system to a level where people are treated like commodities. And,it would be unfair to the poor who is selling his/her kidney to the rich as if the other kidney is failing, the poor might die because of those rich who wanted their kidney. Also, when you are trading organ, you a like selling away part of your body.If you are a kidney patient, you may seek donation from close family member like spouse, parent or children rather than trading it.Hence,I would never legalise organ trading and Singapore would be a better place to live for all.

If i were the government i will legalised it because if a lot of people are dying each day by lacking of kidney or other organs one shoud try and help by selling/donating one's kidney so that some people can be saved and the amount paid should be either offering jobs to the one's that donate their kidney or pay a hefty sum of money to them each month so that they will not regret selling their kidneys.Another reason is that f Singapore banned it and a lot of people object it this situation will turned into a riot or democracy which a lot of damage may occured.Another one is that trading or selling organs is fine as long there is no complaint from the seller and the seller should think twice before they act as it is their own decision to make whether they are willing to sell them so i will not illegalised it.

Organ Trading should be legalised as it could eliminate the suffering of many patients requiring transplant surgery, it could also satisfy the seller and the buyer. It isn't a must to trade your organ. If someone sells an organ, he/she should know that he/she needs to take more care to his/her health. It is the seller's personal choice.

If I am a buyer,I should be happy if someone is willing to sell me an organ. Because I am happy the seller is happy. But the seller has no rights to take back his/her organ as she has choosen to sell it to me.

if I was the buyer,i would think it is fair as the seller sold the kidney to me herself/himself and i did not persuae her/him to sell the kindey to me.and if he/she wants it back,he/she cannot buy back the kidney he/she sold to me as i wold not survive without one.

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading,as it is dehumanising. However, some argue that as long as there are willing seller and a willing buyer, the market should be left to sort itself out. Also, there will be advantages and disadvantage. The trading will be unfair to the kidney seller. This is because,if one of his/her kidney is failing ,it will affect the person's health. Also ,the kidney patient should consider having a kidney donation from his/her close family member. Thus,I will not legalise organ trading.

if i were the government, I would legalize organ trading if it does not go to far, like up to selling the brain, or other gruesome organs. The advantage, is hopping around. When it comes to money, the seller is. When it is about organ safety, it is the buyer. And also, if the organ traded is defective, the buyer would have to buy another organ.

If i were the government, i would not allow organ trading . I understand that the rich desperately needs the organ but its being unfair to the poor . Hence , when the seller sells the organ , he/she would not be able to buy it back when they need it . It does not means that if u are rich , u can buy others organs as it is forbidding their rights to their own body and paying for a organ is showing how a organ is so worthless . Poor people also have lives . I believe i made the right decision.

srry the first phrase should be - i would not legalise organ trading .

If i were the seller, i will not sell my kidney as it is taking an organ that is important to my body. If my other kidney failed, i will die and nobody will support my family. I am sure that the buyer will not agree to sell the kidney back as he will put himself/herself first and would not want to die. Anyway, an organ from the human body does not only worth $1500. It is also dangerous as I may die in the operation if it is unsuccessful. I believe that organ trading should not be legalised as both parties will be in the disadvantage.

Organ trading should be allowed as it is helping others with failing kidney to survive. And the seller should have agreed to sell his/her organ which is fair. And they will sell organs which has 2 pair which alright as you can survive with only one kidney instead of 2.But i think is much of the personal choice

Tan Si Si said...

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading. If people trade their kidneys now, sometime later, they would trade other parts of their organs. If I legalise organ trading, the poor people would be able to sell their kidney for money. But would the seller be able to buy the other kidney if the other one is failing? The buyer might sell it in a higher price of might not even consider selling it again. Therefore,i think organ trading should not be legalised.

If i were thee government, I would legalise organ trading. If we allow organ trading, the poor might have lost an important organ but if the buyer is rich and desprately needs an organ and in coincedence which you are wiling to sell you will get a truckload of money;D. And also the person who recived the organ can also save himself from dying. So from this information, this is a win-win situation, so i think the govern ment should allow organ trading.

If I were the kidney seller,I would not seel my kidney to the buyer as I think that it is very unfair to me because the buyer only think about himself and not other people.Even though if I sell it to them, the amount given to me will not be enough for my family and even if it does,it will not last long as we need to pay our daily neccesities and if my another kidney has a failure, chances of getting sick will be very high and it will be a burden to my family because of the medical fees.Even if the buy from me the kidney S$1,000,000,I don't think that my kidney cost that much as any organ is priceless.Money can never replace them.I will not sell my kidney for another reason is,they could have asked from their family members and not only us,moreover also such activities is dehumanising and will lead to the degenaration of the health-care system to a level where people are treated like commodities. Therefore,I am totally against Organ Trading

If I were the goverment,I will not legalise organ trading as it is unfair.Happy endings may be the immediate outcome to the kidney patient but sad endings will be the immediate outcome to the kidney seller. The seller might get some mone after the transactions but in the end, it will be used up and even if the seller wants to buy back his/her kidey, it will be no use as the patient will not want to sell back as he/her knows that life is more imoportant than money. So, the seller will find others who are willing, but i am sure there will not be other people who are foolish enough to sell their kidney. Therefore in conclusion, there will be two diffrent felling of the patient's and seller's family. The seller's family would regret for allowing one of their family member to sell his/her kidney away.On the other hand, the patient's family will be ecstatic as he/she can continue to live. That's why organ trding should not be legalise.

I do not think that organ trading should be legalised as it is unfair to the poor and it may be very dangerous for the seller. What if after the seller sold his/her organ,his/her other organ is not "working",he/she cannot buy his/her organ back?I think that we should ask ourselves what if before we make a decision.

If I were the kidney patient,I would not buy any organ from the seller.I would only accept donations from a close family or spouse.Even if my parents want to buy an organ, I would convice them not to buy in case I "harm" the seller.

If I were the government,I would not legalised organ trading because it is unfair to the poors and if we legalised it,we have to pay a fixed compensation and ensure that the donor would have a limited health insurance coverage. The donor could act dead and his or her wife/husband could take the money with the donor and leave the country. It will also affect the economic sincr there are 600 in needy of the kidney and imagined we had to pay the donors the compensation and add together, it is:$1800000 to around $3600000 and how to get all this money if we all spent on the future IR project and Singapore would have a finacial depression

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as it is dehumanising. It also very unfair to the poor as a kidney patient because they might lost their important organs. And they cannot afford to buy another kidney.
If their another kidney has a failure, chances of dying will be very high.So I was was totally agaist it.

If I were the government, I would agree on organ trading. Why not agree on it since the person agrees on the transplant and he or she was not force to trade his or hers organ. If the donor seller's second organ failed it would be his problem since he agreed on trading his organ for a sum of money if he wants his organ back.Who would give back his organ back to him ,right.

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading. It is unfair to the poor who cannot afford to buy a kidney. If I legalise organ trading, people will later trade others parts of their organ. The rich who want to buy the kidney will get the prority but the poor will suffer as they might have the other kidney failing and cannot trade back their kidney. Therefore I will not legalise organ trading in Singapore.

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as it is not fair to the poor people. The rich people would not feel anything as the organ is not his/hers and the poor is at the mercy of the rich as they needed money. The rich is making use of the poor. The poor has no choice but to trade as they needed money.Even trading only one kidney can kill a person and the poor is also a human with feelings.

Bintoro Prakoso said...

If I was the best friend of the kidney seller i would advise the seller not to sell his or her kidney as he he or she would not be able to buy back the kidney even if it was in a desperate time and all will be regretted and lastly some people say that it can save more lives if organ trading/selling was allowed but the fact is that those who sell their kidneys will also die easily with only one kidney therefore, i would not allow the trading or selling of kidneys

limangel said...

If I was the government I would allow organ trade.Since it is a win-win situation, why not?
Since both parties agree to it and is happy with it, why not?
If the seller was not happy with the agreement, he should not have agreed with it in the first place.
Plus,if you can get paid and you are doing it for a good cause, it is reasonable. It is exactly the same as donating your organ, only better-you get paid.
So if I was the government, Iwould allow organ trade.

No!!!!!!it should not be legalised as organ trading is like cheating poor people their money.poor people consider every cents as 1kg of gold. Also,do you want to sell your precious organ for just a small sum of $1,500?you could also sell your furniture instead of your organ. The money($1,500)can only last the seller for two or three months and time passes very fast.If i was the goverment i would not really ban organ trading as it still would help the buyer. The seller might have some kidney problem. If the buyer is really, really, really urgen, I would allow it.Do you want to see one of your family members to R.I.P?If the seller wantd to sell their organ, I would stop them but not punish them,I would tell that organ selling is bad and I wuold give im some of my money

I will not legalise organ trading if I were the government.Even though sellers think that selling their own organs can make money for their family, the money will eventually run out. This is a very serious disadvantage when the seller live for a short time. The seller can also experience organ promblems to his other organ that has not been sold.He cannot get his organ back and will not have money to buy one, as the buyer's money could have been used up. Also, the buyer will benefit by having a longer life. Even though they(the buyers)have normal income, they can recoup their money soon. Therefore, I believe that it is a good choice to not legalise organ trading.

If I were a governor, I would not legalize organ trading because if the organ trade is successful, but the seller starts having kidney failure, he will want to have a refund but the buyer would not want to sell it to him, and a quarrel will break out. Therefore the government should prevent "kidney quarrels" and therefore, organ trading should not be legalized.By the way Nicholas, the seller has already sold his kidney but u stated that you would not want to sell your kidney O.O , and many people write that if you were the government, but the goverment is a group of people... lols

If I were the the government,I would not legalise organ trading. It was because if other people sell their organ, the money can be spent finish and if your kidney fails suddenly and your health become bad,you may not be able to buy back your own kidney even if you offer a higher price and you will just die and you cannot support your family.

If I were the government, I would not legalize organ trading as it is exploit to the poor but it is an advantage to the buyer yo be able to survive. Even you are rich, that does not mean that you can buy others organs because life or organs are priceless. The seller who had sold his/her organ, as days past by, his/her health will deteriorate.

If i were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as the seller will have a weaker immunity system and when the only kidney he has left fails, he cannot get back his other kidney. The money they receive is also very little money. The money will only last the seller a few months.

If i was the government, i would be against organ trading as the seller will have a weaker system. If the person is that unlucky to have his only kidney which is left failing, he would not be able to get back the kidney that he has sold. That amount of money the seller receives from selling his kidney will not be enough, it will only be able to last the seller a short period of time XD =P

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as this is being unfair to the poor. Rich families can buy other organs but the poor need the organs more than the rich do. Even though you can survive on one kidney, you have higher chances to contract diseases. As the government, I would not want my country to suffer
diseases just because of kidney trading. Therefore, I am against legalising kidney trading.

Nixon said...

If I were the government,I would not legalise organ trading as it will endanger the seller's life and if the seller's other kidney fails, the buyer would surely not to sell the kidney back as people normaly only care for themselves. For the kidney patient,he has to wait for a person with a kind soul to donate a kidney for him/her.If he is so unluckly that no one donates a kidney to him/her,then he/her will just to accept that he/her is going to die.

Jeffrey Lembang said...

Organ trading should be legalized as many people these days are dying because of organ failures.
I also think that if both the seller and buyer are doing it according to their own will, it should be allowed and that the doctor should not refuse to make the operation. So my final conclusion will be that organ trading should be legalized.
