The two main characters in the story are Ashley(this character is a boy if you're wondering)and Cas. the setting of the story is at a rundown warehouse. It is about Ashley who is always the goalkeeper and he hates it. He is very determined to be the striker and gets to prove himself when Cas' team will challenge their rival team who has the largest person in school. In the end, ashley races up from goal and manages to score a stunning goal.These are some words which i think are good and might help you: envied,sprawled piggyback,ridiculous,psychedelic,co-ax.in my opinion i will rate this book 3 out of 5 stars.

The main character in the story is Nathaniel.The setting of the story is in Nathaniel's and his sisters' pony's barn.The pony's name was Smokey.The story is about Nathaniel and his sisters seeing an advertisement on a free pony to give away for free.They had some difficulties taking care of Smokey as their father had left them, and maybe their father would never come back ever again.They did not have enough money to buy hay for Smokey .So,the decided to "steal" hay from the barn as they feel that it was a waste that nobody was using it.In school there was a really pretty girl in class Nathaniel really like.Her name was Cheryl.One christmas eve night,he met Cheryl in the barn. As the girl does niot have a pony,Nathaniel let Cheryl ride Smokey.They spent a beautiful night together.But the next day,he saw Cheryl with another guy and he felt upset and cheated.Once, Nathaniel smashed one of his sister's glass figurine and had to use the money that he earned from paper route to buy anther present for her. As christmas eve is around the corner ,Nathaniel decided to buy the figurine as a christmas present as he could not afford the glass figirine,he bought a very pretty keychain for his sister.She loved it and forgave him. Once,Nathaniel even thought he saw his father with another woman and a child.Nathaniel's mother had to sell their house and rent an apartment near their school as their mother could not handle the electricity bills.They even had to sell Smokey. But at last, they did not.The words/phrases are,paced back and forth,cursinng the day she was born,bundle up,an idea popped out of my head,cannot bring myself,her eyes burning with hatred,jaw dropped.I will rate this book 5 out of 5 as it is the most interesthing book i've ever read in my life!

This book tells me about his stories and its main character is Jean.It talks about his story of childhood and diary about him.I like the part where Grove,Jean's friend went to the Sky Hill Mountain and it was an awful mountain but it was pretty on the summit.They stay up for the sunset and the five good phrases that I want to share with my friends are;peroration,bewilder,squirming, asylum and eccentricity.My rating for this book is 4 stars out of five stars.

The two main characters in the story are Varjak Paw and Sally Bones(they are both cats). The most interesting prt is when Varjak finally won his rival Sally when he found out that Sally had a weakness which is sunlight and when the first ray of sun shone on Sally. Varjak pushed her off the roof of a tall building where they had been fighting all night. The setting is in a city dump which is in a deserted city. The story is about Varjak Paw, a silver blue cat with amber eyes, living in the dump. He is a cat which can hunt, fight and walk unseen. His rival Sally Bones,a thin white cat with ice-blue eyes, too can fight, hunt and walk unseen, but she was stronger than Varjak. Sally had a large gang of cats fighting for her but Varjak only had three freinds fighting for him and a scared dog who likes Varjak. At the end Varjak finally found Sally's weakness and kills her after she killed Varajak freind, Jalal. The fight between Sally and Varjak was over. These are some words which I think are good and might help the class:amber, loomed, the crunch of gravel, shuddered, jumpy. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

The main characters in the story are none other than Sherlock Holmes and his assistance Dr Watson.I find that the part when sherlock holmes and a few other detectives caught the murderer,as it involved very interesting facts when sherlock holmes explained himself.This story is all about solving a crime.A man unexpectedly died without a trace of any blood.His face showed horror as if he was forced to do something.There were strange handwritings on the wall written in blood though.The story moves on about how sherlock holmes assistant(Dr Watson) becomes the narrator of the story and wrote about how he felt about sherlock holmes.The case was solved by the ingenius sherlock holmes and he named it "a study in scarlet.Thats probably how the story was named.I would like to share the following words;calumniated,slanderous,
poseurs,corpulent and my curiousity in him gradually increased.I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Story:Super power ,Tusked Terror

The book I had read is "Tusked Terror".It is about 2 boys,Max and Finlay,saving the ancient god,Hercules,who was defeated by the godess,Juno.He was then trapped by Juno in a castle and ''accidentally"found by Max.As Hercules is trapped in a wall and had his power drained,the boys were the only ones who can save him.Juno gave them 1 task each day and there were 7 tasks altogheter and they have to comlete it before sunset to have the power they have chosen given to Hercules.The task is to banish all the monster Hercules had killed .In this episode,the boys had already completed 3 tasks and they have to kill the Erymanthian boar.They also chose the power of shield.The part which interest me the most when they are racing downhill to trap the giant wild boar.My favourite character is Finlay as he have the power to shield himself and helped a lot of people from the charging of the boar.The setting of the story is at the castle when Juno is reviving the boar.The ending part of the story is finlay saved Max from the lightning bolt which was created by Juno and the power is returned to Hercules.I would recommend this to a friend as it is very interesting and has lots of vocabulary in it.I think i will rate this book 6 out of 5 stars

The two main characters in the story are Alex whom is a girl and Mr Underwood whom is her year-six teacher.The setting of the story is that Mr Underwood's house got burn and then lived with Alex and her uncle.Her uncle sold doorknobs.It was also about finding a 'TReasure Map' which Mr Undrewood's ancestors owned.I will rate this book 4 out of five stars as the storyline is twisting and is also interesting.

The setting of the story is a old man's house at Holly Lane.The blind old mann was robbed of $200 and all his furniture in his house.In the end, Frederick, Larry, Philip, Daisy and Elizabeth find out that the furniture was stolen by Wilfrid( the old man's nephew) and the money was hiddden by Marian(so Wilfrid cannot steal the money to pay his debts).The words which I think is good and might help: rueful, ingenious, obligingly, dignified and fusillade.

In the story, the children find out that the island has boats,submarines and supplies that are used in war time by other countries. here are some words that may come in useful:coarse,airtight,murmured,hummed and stumbled. There are teo settings in the book, and they are: Second Earth, and Denduron. The story is about Bobby, who is fourteen years old, and he has an amazing uncle , whose name is Press, and a dog, and his family. But on the school's basketball semi-finals, Bobby, who was also the basketball star, was not able to go, as Courtney came over and confessed her love to Bobby. And they kissed.(UUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!)And after, like, five seconds, uncle Press dropped by and asked Bobby for a favor. Bobby agreed and they hopped onto their motorbike, and they headed to a run-down train station. There, they entered a room, and they were transported from the train station to another territory: Denduron. Bobbby turns out to be a Traveler and Travelers are supposed to settle civil wars in territories. And Denduron was in near destruction because of a civil war, and Saint Dane is behind it. The most interesting part of the story to me is the part when they rescue uncle Press. Bobby use technology from Second Earth to scare them away. This story shows how a small six year old boy lived in the village called Pakefield while the soldiers when out to fight in the War. Everyone in the village was told to move away but his mother refused. He lives in an underground shelter with his two brothers, Pud and Ivan and his mother. Even though his village is being bombed by the Germans, he still hangs out with his friends and run whenever there is a bombing taking place. The 5 words or phrases are incendiary, jitterbugging, blotted it from my memory ,floated silently over their crunching gravel,corrugated. I would rate this book 4/5*!Oh almost forgot ,the characters are the author whose name is not revealed,Pud,Ivan,Mother.

My favourite part of the story was when Norman proposed to Beatrix but soon after their secret marriage, Norman died.It was sad and touching scene.
My favourite character is Beatrix Potter. She has a vivid imagination and is very creative. She has a talent that allowed her to pursue her dreams as a writer and an artist.
The most interesting part of the story was when Beatrix met her first crush, William Heelis, and married him soon after she bought a new house in a country side.
The setting of this story is in London.
I would recommend this book to my friends as it would allow them to pursue their dreams and fulfil their wishes.

The most interesting part is when the back curtain opened to reveal all the Wildcats. They moved aside and Gabriella stepped onto the stage, singing along with Troy. That arrangement was planned by Ryan and the Wildcats.
It is about the Wildcats going for their summer. They are not having a vacation but working at a country club founded by Ryan and Sharpay's family. As for Sharpay and Ryan, they are not working but preparing for the annual talent show.
The setting are at East High School and Lava Springs country club.

The main character is Totto-chan.The setting of the story is in Tomoe Gakuen. This story is about Totto-chan's childhood recollections about an ideal school in Tokyo during World War II that combined learning with fun, freedom and love.Tomoe Gakuen is an unusual school that that old railroad cars for classrooms and it was run by its founder and headmaster, Sosaku Kobayashi who was a firm believer in freedom of expression and activity.The most interesting part I found in the book is when a teacher of Totto-chan in the previous school said to Totto-chan's Mother that when they were going to write the alphabet, Totto-chan would opens her desk, takes out her notebook and bangs the top down.Then she opens her desk again, puts her head inside, get out a pencil, quickly shuts the desk and writes an 'A' and if she written it badly or made a mistake, she will opens the desk again, gets out an eraser,shuts the desk,erases the letter then opens and shuts the desk again to put away the eraser and kept repeating it all again for the next letter and she do all that at top speed!Also, why I think it is interesting was because this is a real story and she actually did all those stuff!The words are fervor,ecclesiastical,scathing,

She pleaded 'I' the schoolmaster to persuade her grandfather to let her keep Bruno .In the end,he let her keep the bear because of his honey business.The news about Bruno reached the whole country and a lot of people came to the village to see Bruno and buy Bruno's honey.The news about Bruno reached a famous singer named Niki and the whole crew and director s gong to shot a film thre and the staring star is Niki.They needed Bruno to dance but Bruno would not dance unless Roxanne sing a song for him so they decided to put Niki and Roxanne as the staring star and Niki talked to her about she going with them to do business and Niki persuaded her that she would get everything she wanted if she go with them.Roxanne was nervous at first and went to the schoolmaster to seek advice but the schoolmaster told her to follow her heart and in the end she went with Niki.Before the day Roxanne left the village, she spoke to Bruno and Bruno was sad to see her leave.She promised Bruno that she would visit him often. Roxanne also asked the schoolmaster to helped to take care of Bruno when she left and the schoolmaster agreed and she left. THe next morning after Roxanne left the village,the schoolmaster went to place Bruno's breakfast but when he saw that Bruno would not move and stared at the direction where Roxanne left him.The schoolmaster went into the cage to stroke his fur where he found out that Bruno was dead and he send a message to Roxanne and she never replied.In the end the schoolmaster received a hat from her,the one he wanted and he hat did not fit him.

Title : The Taming of the Shrew

The two main characters in the story are Katharine(the elder daughter of Baptista) and Petruchio (the guy who came from Verona to Padua to look for a wife then married Katharine.) Well, Katharine had a fierce tongue and a fiery temper that she was known as "Katherine the Shrew". They met in a park where Petruchio greeted Katharine politely, addressing her as "Kate". Katharine,not liking this plain greeting,said scornfully," People who talk to me call me Katharine." A strange conversation followed.She was so loud and angry that she showed him how fairly she gained the name of Shrew, while he stil praised her sweet and polite words.
At last,hearing her father coming, he said," Sweet Katharine, let us set this idle chat aside for your father has agreed that you shall be my wife, your dowry is agreed on, and whether you want to or not, I will marry you."
After their marriage at church, Petruchio decided to bring Katharine home. Seeing that it is not wrong for a husbond to bring his wife home, Katharine's father agreed. Petruchio has made up his mind that she hould have neither sleep nor food that night.
The table was spread and supper was soon served, but Petruchio,pretending to find fault with every dish, threw the meat on the floor and ordred the servants to remove it. Katharine, tired and supperless, went to bed, he found fault with that, throwing the pillows and bedclothes about the rom. Katherine was then forced to sit down in a chair where, if she chanced to fall asleep,she was woken up by the loud voice of her husband storming at servants for making his wife's bridal bed so badly.
This happened all the way until Katharine's fiery temper was gone. She was soon a gentle and pretty and sweet lady...

Boris the tiger died and rumors about what is going to happen to him is spreading around.Soon after that Jimmy hears that someone is planning to steal Boris's bones. He and his schoolmate Billy and Major Gregory are determined to investigate into this matter.

The main chharacter in this story is Cosmo hill. The setting of this story is in the future, in a place called Satellite City. The story is about Cosmo who was unwanted by his parents. Therefore, he was sent to the Clarissa Frayne Institute for Parentally Challenged Boys.
Over there, the boys are put to work by the state, testing higly dangerous products. Cosmo realizes he must get away and escaes with the help of the Supernatualist(a group of kids who have special abilities), but soon they founf themslves caught in a web for more comlicated than they had imained before, and they wil discover a horrifying secret that will force the, to question everything they believe in. There are words that are good: revoked,scampered,throb,dog-eared,detonate. I will rate this book four out of 5 stars.

The main characters in the story are Daniel and his family.The setting of the story is at Daniel`s home and his school.The story is about Daniel`s mother was very ill once-mentally ill.But she`s fine now and she landed a big new job as a head teacher! They moved house and he transfered to a new school.The problem is that his mother is the head of his new school.He felt very embarrassing.
Just as Daniel is trying to fit in and make new friends, his mother stops taking the medicine that keeps her well because those medicine made her put on weights which she don`t like.
As she starts behaving more and more weirdly and said Daniel`s younger sister is not her child.Somebody had swapped her baby with other baby because her baby is a royal baby.Daniel called the police and his mother was sent to the hospital.
At the end,Daniel` mother was fined and continued with her medicine.
The most interestng part is when Daniel`s mother started behaved more and more weirdly.
The words/phrases are:taken aback,butterflies in my tummy,taken it off the hook,an idea popped out of my head and ruefully.

Jonathan is a young vampire and he is in a group called the fang gang.
The group consists of 5 friends (including Jonathan).
One day, Jonathan wakes up and finds a huge yeti underneath his bed. He made friends with the Yeti,Yeshe. But Yeshe is very timid. Jonathan convinces the fang gang to get Yeshe back to Tibet. But Yeshe needs to be brave and fierce enough before he can get home.

The part of the story which interests me the most was when Barney the millionarie hires a homeless hooligan called,Wilf.The story was about kind and timid pianist,Barney and Jasper both
wanted to buy the same painting. After finding that it was Barney who bought the painting,he decided to steal it by using a special effect that can make him invisible by his boss.In the end,he did not steal the paiinting he wanted and he was sent to prison for stealing all Barney's painting except for the painting both of them wanted and for kinapping barney's cat,Dandelion.The setting of the story was at Woodford.

The main characters are Wang Lung,Wang Lung's father,O-lan,Wang Lung's uncle,Wang Lung's eldest son(Nun En),Wang Lung's second son(Nun Wen),Wang Lung's thrid son,Wang Lung's eldest daughter("poor fool"),Ching,Lotus,Cuckoo and Pear Blossom.The setting of the story is at a village called Anhwei in China.The story is about a farmer called Wang Lung who is getting married to a slave called O-lan.They went though hard times together with Wang Lung's father,Nun En,Nun Wen and poor fool.Wang Lung's uncle is from a band of bandits and threatened Wang Lung to take him in or his uncle will tell the other bandits to rob his house.The most intersting part was when he went to the city to work during droughts as he lived in the village the entire time,he did not know what to do and he almost got himself into war!The words/phrases are taken in an ungrateful nest of snakes,as a rat smells cheese,reap,betrothing and wed.I rate it 5/5.
Title:There's a PHARAOH in our bath

The main characters are the Pharaoh,Professor Jelly,Grimstone,Ben and Carrie.The setting of the story is at a museum.It talks about a Pharaoh who was trapped in a coffin for thousand years and was once again called alive by two man who will be rich and famous if they find the map of a tresure.I like it most when the Pharaoh poured the cold tea into the toaster to make the tea warm like the bread.

The main characters of this story is Axel and Uncle Lindenbrock(they are both boys. It is about the two guys trying to find old artifacts in the center of the earth.They met a lot of obstacles which were dangerous and live threatening.two of the worst obstacle is drought and the fearsome T-rex.Although they found lots of fossils,they only took one.They also discovered new species of birds:glowbirds and proved tha the center of the earth is not hot but warm.The most interesting part of the story is when they witness a battle between ichthyosaurus and the plesiosaurus(They are both dinosaurs).The setting of the story is Axel found an ancient piece of paper tucked away in an old book thatdescribe a secret passage to the center of the earth.Five words and phrases that I want to share is:renewed vigour,ruminant animals,take to our heels,dumb with astonishment and skirted the high cliff.I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars !

Title:Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse.

The main character in the story is Percy.The setting of the story is at Olympus(a country,according to the story).The story is about a boy,Percy, who is the son of a greek god.He and his friends are heading to Maine to bring two new demigods to Camp Half-Blood.But ther,they discover that the great battle of the monsters and gods has begun.And the enemy general is plotting the fall of Olympus.The most interesting part of the story is when Percy when to go snowboarding with a pig.The 5 phrases/words that i want to share with my friends which might help them is:auburn-haired,silvery yellow like the moon,quavered,salvaged and menial.I would rate the book 4 out of 5 as it is very funny in some parts and interesting.

The main characters of this book are David,Lucy and Elizabeth(Liz).The setting is at Liz's house which David lodged.The most interesting part is that David needed to write a two thousand word essay by a week on he existance-or not-of dragons.The plot is that David dug deeper into the past and to prove that dragons existed.I would rate this book 4 out of 5.

The interesting part is when Floss' dad loses his job and all his friends try to help him.
The summary is of a simple girl,Flora Barnes, nicknamed Floss,trying to fit in.She has to act like she likes pop music and branded clothes while what she really likes is oldies songs on a forgotten channel, and a simple old tee.She is also torn between her mum going to Australia with her seocond husband and staying with her dad in his old cafe.I think the setting is in a small cafe.I will rate this book 3 out of 5 stars.

The characters inthe story are Mr Wily Wonka,Charlie Bucket,Mr and Mrs Bucket,Grandpa Joe,Grandma Joesephine,Grandpa George and Grandma Georgeginia.The most interesting part of the story in the book is when Joesephine,Georgeginia and George ate too much of a kind of pill that would make them younger and Georgeginia became a minus and Charlie And Mr Wonka went to the minus world to get Georgeginia out.The setting is in Charlie's Chocolate Factory and in orbit.I rate 3.5 stars out of 5 stars.
